A guarantee in place:STO Garant

In order to meet its statutory obligation to provide a guarantee for our clients booking package travels with us,  we at Holidays in Holland uses STO Garant, a guarantee scheme recognised by the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM). You can check that this is the case by visiting STO Garant’s website and verifying that Holidays in Holland is listed as a participant (www.sto-garant.nl/en/members). Whether STO Garant’s guarantee applies to a particular package offer made by Holidays in Holland is specified for that offer and mentioned in the page whether it is applicable. How it Works

If STO Garant’s guarantee applies to your booking, you do not pay the booking amount to Holidays in Holland, but instead into the escrow account belonging to Stichting Derdengelden Certo Escrow, a payment services provider registered with De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) and the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM). This trust account holds your payment in reserve until the trip booked has come to an end. The booking amount is then released to Holidays in Holland on the day after your trip ends. If Holidays in Holland should become financially insolvent
before the end of your trip, STO Garant will implement the guarantee. The Guarantee Scheme details how you can make a claim under the guarantee in such cases.

This means, that as a customer at Holidays in Holland, you will be paying your full money of travel to the bank account of STO Gurantee. This includes the 50% prepayment as well as the 50% rest payment according to our payment terms. STO guarantee will be the main person who will handle your money and give this back at the end of the trip back to Holidays in Holland.

STO guarantee scheme makes sure that you, as a customer, will be guranteed of your travel (or refund of what you have paid), if Holidays in Holland is bankrupt during or before your travel. That is the reason that you are paying your total package travel amount to STO Gurantee and not to Holidays in Holland.

For this service, you will be compulorily paying merely Eur 12.50 per booking.
